Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when placing an order:

• Contact information: name and email address
• Search criteria: ZIP code, state, care type (memory care, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospice), and facility preferences
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe; ClearPath does not store credit card numbers
• Optional: veteran/spouse status for VA Aid & Attendance benefit context

We also collect standard technical information automatically when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is used for site security and performance monitoring only.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes:

• To generate and deliver your personalized facility report by email
• To send monitoring alerts if you have subscribed to ongoing facility monitoring
• To respond to questions or support requests you submit to us
• To process payments through our payment processor (Stripe)

Third-Party Service Providers

ClearPath uses a small number of trusted service providers to operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing. Your card information is handled entirely by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy. ClearPath receives only a payment confirmation, never your card number.
• SendGrid (Twilio) — transactional email delivery. Your email address is used solely to deliver your report and any monitoring alerts you have requested.
• Railway — cloud infrastructure hosting. Your data is stored on Railway's servers located in the United States.

Each provider is contractually bound to use your data only for the services they perform on our behalf.

Data Sources Used in Reports

ClearPath reports are generated using facility data published by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), including inspection records, staffing data, quality measures, and deficiency citations. This data is publicly available and refreshed monthly.

We apply proprietary scoring and analysis to this data. ClearPath does not accept referral fees, placement commissions, or payments of any kind from the facilities included in our reports. Our analysis is independent.

Data Retention

We retain your order information (name, email, search criteria, and report content) for a period of two years to support any follow-up questions and to fulfill monitoring subscriptions. Payment transaction records are retained as required by applicable law and Stripe's policies.

If you would like your personal information deleted from our systems, you may contact us at contact@clearpathseniorguide.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

Cookies

ClearPath uses only essential cookies required for the site to function (such as session management during the order process). We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Children's Privacy

ClearPath's services are intended for adults making care decisions for family members. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice by email to customers with active monitoring subscriptions.
